Editing » Best method to import Mts Files into Final Cut Pro X

Hi,

Hi Just purchased Final Cut Pro X and I'm really impressed with it so far. However, I have just discovered that it cannot import mts files.
My question is - What is the best method of doing this while still retaining the quality of the footage?
I have look at various convertors but tricky to choose which one top go for?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Please help.
