Restricted free agent Mats Zuccarello and the New York Rangers avoided arbitration on Tuesday when the Norwegian Olympian agreed to a one-year deal worth $3.5 million. The Union (1-1-1), coming off a 2-1 loss in Columbus, made major off-season changes including the addition of American midfielder Maurice Edu and midfielders Vincent Noguiera and Cristian Maidana.
