PROVO, Utah -- On Friday night, Mississippi State (2-4) fell to BYU (4-3) 28-21 in double overtime in its longest road trip of the season. The contest was close for the entirety of the evening but, ultimately, BYU prevailed as MSUs final pass attempt in the second overtime fell incomplete.Sophomore quarterback Nick Fitzgerald completed 17-of-36 passes for 214 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He also rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns while sophomore running back Aeris Williams led the Bulldogs with 86 yards rushing on 21 carries.
