Carolina has now signed all four of its exclusive rights free agents, previously signing fellow defensive end Efe Obada https://www.carolinapanthersfanshop.com/Donte-Jackson-Jersey , safety Damian Parms and running back Elijah Hood. A player with less than two seasons of NFL experience whose contracts have expired are considered an exclusive rights free agent (ERFA). Cox and Obada are the two players with the most playing experience out of the group of four, and both have pretty good chances to make the roster this season the way things are shaping up right now. There is some chatter around the team that Cox is going to be moved inside to play one of the interior defensive line positions, most likely the three technique.Moves like this continue to lend support to the idea that the Panthers are switching to a 3-4 defense, or at least making it a more prevalent part of a multiple front look.
