Mo Farah insists he has nothing to hide following the latest leak of confidential medical documents by Russian hackers, which revealed he been granted a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) in 2008.Four-time Olympic gold medallist Farah, who retained his 5,000 metres and 10,000m Olympic titles in Rio last month, tennis star Rafael Nadal and golfer Justin Rose were among 26 athletes to have had their TUEs published online by the Fancy Bears on Monday.TUEs allows an athlete to use a medication that is on the World Anti-Doping Agencys [WADA] banned list of substances because of an illness or condition and there is no suggestion that anyone named is involved in any wrongdoing.Farah, Nadal and Rose joined last weeks high-profile cast that included American gymnast Simone Biles, Tour de France winners Chris Froome and Sir Bradley Wiggins, and tennis sisters Serena and Venus Williams. But just as Wiggins still faces questions over three injections of a powerful corticosteroid that he had not disclosed before, the first of Farahs two TUEs became the immediate focus of the most recent leak as it was for the same drug prescribed to Wiggins -- triamcinolone -- and it seemed he had previously admitted to only one TUE.That exemption was for a saline drip and two painkillers that the 33-year-old Londoner was given after he collapsed in Park City, Utah, where he was training at altitude in 2014.He said this was his only TUE at a press conference in Birmingham last June when asked about his coach Alberto Salazar, who remains under investigation by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, but it has since emerged that he did mention the 2008 triamcinolone injection a few weeks later in an interview with Sky Sports News.Responding to questions about this earlier TUE, a spokesperson for Farah said: As Mo has previously stated, he has got nothing to hide and doesnt have a problem with this or any of his [anti-doping administration and management system] information being released -- as evidenced by the fact that he voluntarily shared his blood data with the Sunday Times last year.Mos medical care is overseen at all times by British Athletics and over the course of his long career he has only ever had two TUEs.The first was back in 2008 for a one-off anti-inflammatory treatment to an injury. The second was in 2014 when Mo collapsed and was airlifted to hospital for emergency care, which consisted of painkillers and being placed on a drip.It is understood the first TUE -- which happened before he started training with Salazar in the US, hence the confusion over his 2015 answer to questions about medical exemptions while working with the coach -- was to treat a flare-up of a back injury shortly before a mile race in Newcastle.Roses TUE is for an anti-inflammatory drug he took to treat a back injury that caused him to miss several weeks of action in May and June, while Nadal had anti-inflammatory injections in September 2009 and shortly before he withdrew from London 2012 with tendinitis in his knees. SAN DIEGO -- Chargers rookie Joey Bosa missed his first opportunity to participate in a fully padded practice due to an apparent leg injury, putting in doubt the possibility of the Ohio State product playing in the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.Signed a week ago, the rookie defensive end participated in San Diegos practice in helmets and shorts on Tuesday, but has not practiced or played with the team since. The Chargers did not practice on Wednesday, and Bosa participated in a light workout with veteran players before the teams final preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers?on Thursday.Bosa did not play in the game. The Chargers received a roster exemption from the NFL for the rookie defensive end as he works himself into football shape. The Chargers will not have to list Bosas injury once teams are required to release an injury report Wednesday. However, Bosa was seen walking off of the practice field Monday with his left leg wrapped. He was a little tight, so we held him out today, Chargers ?coach Mike McCoy said. And so well just go one day at a time moving forward from here. And when hes ready to participate, and hes in game shape and willing and able to play, hell be out there playing in games.Since there wont be a padded practice each week of the regular season -- in fact, only 13 in all -- getting Bosa in football shape will be a tough task forr the Chargers.ddddddddddddMcCoy said Mondays practice was like a typical Wednesday practice during the regular season for his team, but he also left open the possibility that the Chargers might have a fully padded practice on Wednesday after taking Tuesday off.McCoy maintained the team would take a cautious approach in getting Bosa on the field. And now that there are lingering injury concerns, McCoy said he plans to stick with that approach after practice on Monday.Bosa signed a four-year, $26 million deal last week that included $17 million in guaranteed signing bonus money, after missing 31 days due to an acrimonious contract negotiation over offset language and the earlier payment of deferred signing bonus money.Bosa said he was in the best shape of his life when he reported to camp last week. The mental part you can get away from here, McCoy said. You can study and do things, and when youre in here you can watch as much film as you want. But you cant ever put enough pads on and go out there. Thats what training camp is for, and he missed all of that. Like we said -- and were going to keep on saying this time and time again -- its one day at a time with him. And when hes ready to go out there and put the pads on, hell be out there with us. ' ' '
