We needed to establish the line of scrimmage, make tackles and play our own game.Things were just as disjointed on the other side of the ball.The Chiefs retooled offensive line allowed Smith to be sacked three times, and a group of wide receivers expected to be much improved was unable to get open against a suspect San Diego secondary.We knew we would have some learning to do with it being our first full game together.
