Theyve recorded four clean sheets in a row at the King Power so I can see why the majority have gone with that and Norwich always concede away - the only Premier League side without a clean sheet on the road this season. However, I do think it will be a bit of an edgy one for Claudio Ranieris men and Im going for a narrower win.Jeff predicts: 2-1Southampton v Chelsea Fraser Forster is yet to concede since returning from injury Most popular prediction: 1-2 (31%)Well 31 per cent are ignoring this season and looking at the fact the away team are called Chelsea. Theres no doubt theyve improved under Guus Hiddink, with clean sheets in their last four Premier League games, but theyve got a poor record against the Saints winning just two of their last seven. Ronald Koemans men are also flying at the moment, so much so Charlie Austin cant get in the team, and I fancy them to make it seven clean sheets on the bounce and produce a coupon-buster.Jeff predicts: 1-0Stoke v Aston Villa Giannelli Imbula scored a stunner at Bournemouth Most popular prediction: 2-0 (38%)This time Ill roll in with the majority. Stoke were right back to their best form for their 3-1 win at Bournemouth and I thought they were exceptional. Theyve also had a little break over the FA Cup weekend so they should be refreshed as well. Villa, in contrast, are coming off the back of that 6-0 thumping by Liverpool, their lowest point in a horrendous season - and things are going from bad to worse.Jeff predicts: 2-0 Pundits Super 6 picks Find out what the Soccer Saturday pundits and Jamie Redknapp are predicting in their Super 6 accas. Watford v Bournemouth Watford needed a Scott Wootton to see them past Leeds in the FA Cup Most popular prediction: 2-1 (29%)Im going for 2-1 as well - but not to the home side. I just feel that Watford tend to stagger over the line in games now, as they did against Leeds last week. I think theyll be pretty fatigued by the end of the season, particularly those they rely on most in Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney. It says it all that own goals are their third highest scorer. Bournemouth are also better away than home, with only one defeat in nine on the road in all competitions, and with the pace of Benik Afobe and Junior Stanislas making them dangerous on the counter-attack.Jeff predicts: 1-2QPR v Birmingham Jimmy Floyd Hasselbainks men have won just one in six Most popular prediction: 1-1 (29%)QPR are just a bit of an enigma. Theyve scored first in 17 games this season but only won seven of them. I was shocked by how bad they were against Fulham last time we saw them on Sky Sports. They were defensively shambolic. Birmingham, on the other hand, have kept clean sheets in five of their last six league games and I can see them recording another one here. Jeff predicts: 0-2Rotherham v Brentford John Swift scored twice in Brentfords 3-0 win over Wolves on Tuesday Most popular prediction: 1-2 (21%)Its a worrying time for Rotherham, who are yet to score a goal under Neil Warnock. Theyve lost 21 games this season, three more than anyone else in the Championship and they never even seem to look like scoring. Brentford are hit-and-miss, but they have a match-winner in Alan Judge. Hes got 13 goals this season but that doesnt tell the full story and hes a big talent.Jeff predicts: 1-2 Take on Jeff Think you know better? We know we can beat any team in the country, said Wake Forest forward Jon Bakero, who had a goal and an assist in Wake Forests double-overtime semifinal win over Denver on Friday.Stanford (14-3-5) beat Wake Forest 2-1 in overtime in the quarterfinals last season on the way to the programs first national championship. While there are many players on each team that played in that game, the Stanford isnt expecting more of a challenge than normal from the Demon Deacons. Both teams have the chance to play for a national championship, Stanford head coach Jeremy Gunn said. Do you think anyone really cares what happened last year?Wake Forest coach Bobby Muuss agreed. It didnt matter if we were playing Stanford or (North) Carolina, Muuss said. Wake Forest has to worry about Wake Forest. While Wake Forest isnt putting any more stock into Sundays game because of its defeat last season to Stanford, the team doesnt deny the loss was a primary source of motivation throughout the season. Were a mature group, Bakero said. I think obviously when you lose a game like that last year, the whole spring, the whole summer, what were thinking about is getting back. Both teams went to overtime Friday night to reach the national championship game. Wake Forest scored in double overtime through midfielder Ian Harkes to advance past Denver, while Stanford reached the final through penalty kicks for the second straight season, beating North Carolina 10-9 in the shootout.Wake Forest has the nations second-best defense, allowing just 0.48 goals per game. Stanford, though, is yet to allow a goal through four tournament games.Stanford is a very well-balanced team and a confident group, Muuss said. We know we have a challenge in front of us.Some things to know about the Wake Forest-Stanford game.STANFORD USED TO THE BEST: As the reigning national champions, Stanford is used to getting its opponents best game. While the Cardinal got off to a shaky start this season with three ties and a loss in its first four games, it quickly became accustomed to each game beiing the biggest on its oppositions schedule.dddddddddddd On Sunday, that will be no different. It made the regular season the toughest because everyone would bring their A-game, Gunn said. Youve been through it.OPPOSING STYLES: Sundays final will feature a contrast in styles, with Wake Forest preferring a passing game to Stanfords preference to play more a direct, counter-attacking game. Muuss said his team is well aware of what to expect from Stanford, while Gunn thinks there may be more scoring opportunities than his teams semifinal game against North Carolina because each team has a unique attacking identity. Its quite simple, Gunn said. We have to figure out ways of shutting them down when theyre on the ball and then figure out ways of breaking them down.NOT AN IDEAL FIELD: The field at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston was replaced in the middle of the last MLS season, which means it is not yet in prime condition. Muuss said after Friday nights semifinal win that it was like playing on sand, and he believes the conditions may favor a team like Stanford more than the Demon Deacons. The Wake Forest coach said it took his team a half to adjust on Friday night, and he wants his team to be safe on Sunday, especially defensively. We just have to make sure were playing safer at the back, maybe an extra touch, Muuss said. We just dont want to have self-inflicting wounds.NO STAR TREATMENT: Last season, Stanfords star player was All-American Jordan Morris, who was named MLS Rookie of the Year this season for the Seattle Sounders. Stanford doesnt feature a big star this season, but Gunn pointed out the teams leading scorer Foster Langsdorf has more goals, 15, than Morris did last season.QUICK TURNAROUND: As reigning national champions, Stanford knows how to handle a championship weekend. After the national semifinal on Friday, teams in the championship only have one day to prepare for the final. Both teams downplayed the significance of a short preparation, with Muuss saying his players were going straight to a yoga session after Saturdays press conference. We know going into the weekend what it entails, so we make the necessary preparations, and guys get to recovering as fast as possible after the game, Stanford goalkeeper Nico Corti said.
