Chicago chipped away from there and opened the second quarter on a 11-0 run to climb back in front, but the Warriors starting unit returned midway through the period and the visitors regained control. Thompson shot 4-of-6 for 13 points in the second, Andre Iguodala beat the buzzer with a scoop layup and Golden State led 61-49 at halftime. The third quarter belonged to the Bulls, who shot 5-of-6 from the arc in the stanza and led 80-79 following Gasols late hook. Midway through the fourth, Thompson and Green hit back-to-back 3s around a Kirk Hinrich miss and Iguodala had a jam in transition to give the Warriors a 97-87 lead.
